Fundamental by Puya

Fundamental is a Metal album by Puya, originally released in 1998. On Gatefold: 10 pressings tracked.

About

Puerto Rican rockers Puya have the wild energy and eclectic influences of acts like Red Hot Chili Peppers, but their mastery of both hip-swinging Latin rhythms and prog-rock time changes is all their own. The band's first international release has everything from a salsa number with heavy guitar riffs ("Whatever") to Caribbean-infused funk ("Trinidad"), from dark metal ("Remora") to laidback stoner grooves ("Keep It Simple"). And the fast and heavy "Fake" can only be called thrash en español.
