Second studio album by Emma Bunton, whose name was shortened only to 'Emma' for the duration of the album and single campaigns.
Prior to its release in the UK in February 2004 it was preceded by three singles: Free Me (May 2003), Maybe (October 2003), and I'll Be There (January 2004). A fourth single (Crickets Sing For Anamaria) was released in May 2004.
Starting mid-2004 the album was released with a full-colour front cover in other markets (except in Russia and Ukraine, where the original pink cover from the UK release was used instead), with "Maybe" as the lead single.
In the United States, club remixes of the lead singles "Free Me" and "Maybe" were serviced to dance clubs and radio in mid-2004; they achieved success in Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart, peaking at #4 and #6 respectively. The US edition was released in January 2005 with two bonus remixes of "Free Me."
