Yet this 1972 Genesis album, their fourth, is proof that opposites attract, and the progeny can be disarming, powerful, and even beautiful. Foxtrot is the fourth studio album by the band.
In Mario Giammetti's 2020 book Genesis 1967 to 1975 - The Peter Gabriel Years, Steve Hackett claimed that the album's second side was co-produced by Bob Potter, one of several producers that the band burned through during the early stages of the album's development before settling on Dave Hitchcock. Hackett stated that Potter handed all of "Horizons" and significant portions of "Supper's Ready". Potter is not credited on the album's packaging, which solely mentions Hitchcock.
