About
The universally recognized Puerto Rican singer/songwriter gives a brilliant performance on this 1970 release featuring the ultimate bilingual Christmas jingle, “Felíz Navidad.” Feliciano offers an instrumental version of “Jingle Bells” set to a samba beat that swings like never before; the tune also showcases his classical guitar virtuosity, as do the freshly arranged “Little Drummer Boy” and “White Christmas,” the latter of which features an ecstatic improvisational solo run. Superb production and precise arrangements wrap it all together into a winning holiday package.
