Fairytales

The best selling jazz album of all time in Norway with over 100.000 copies sold. The album (except track 5) was recorded digitally on a Telefunken MX 80 recorder in 16 bit / 50,4 KHz. Track 5 is an analog recording in a NRK studio.
The various LP reissues and remasterings of releases with the original cover illustration may be separated by:
First LP release:
* A5 is credited to Rogers/Hart on back sleeve on the first release (label side A credits Rogers/Hart on all releases with original cover up to and including 2004)
* track list on sleeve is without track timings
* the technical credits on sleeve is missing the text "Foruten "My Funny Valentine" -- innspilt..."
Second and all later LP releases
* A5 is credited to Rodgers/Hart on back sleeve on these releases
* track list on sleeve is with track timings
* the technical credits on sleeve includes the text "Foruten "My Funny Valentine" -- innspilt..."
All releases 1-4, the ODIN logo on the labels are 'black print on white background'.

The 2015 and later LP remasters are based on a fresh transfer of the original 16bit/50,4kHz original recording, from the original, rediscovered MX80 files. Piano is inverted bass/treble-left/right, and retuned to A=440Hz,
2015 new digital transfer and remastering, 2018 (first correction) and 2022 (final edition) have new sleeve and label designs. These releases are given separate ODIN catalog numbers:
