The tracks on El Rockers by Augustus Pablo were primarily taken from rare outtakes, alternate versions, and singles recorded between 1972 and 1976. These tracks were originally released as B-sides on 7-inch singles in Jamaica or in limited releases abroad. The compilation was curated by Pressure Sounds to include hard-to-find material from the same era as Pablo’s seminal works like King Tubbys Meets Rockers Uptown.
