Egg's first album.
Later reissued with two bonus tracks from a single as "Seven Is A Jolly Good Time".
Very first pressings contained the track "Movement 3" from Symphony No. 2, which was pulled from shelves after a very short time and reissued without this track. The description of Movement 3 read on the first pressings:
"Movement 3 is taken from the "Danse des Adolescents" from Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring". The repeated chord effect is used on stage, continuing for several minutes, but this would obviously not have worked on record."
When the LP was reissued without Movement 3, the blurb was changed:
"Movement 3 has had to be omitted from this record due to copyright difficulties."
This is retained even on the 2024 reissue on Esoteric Recordings, which includes Movement 3.
