About
After the departure of David Conway, My Bloody Valentine released the Strawberry Wine EP, followed by the LP Ecstasy, their second LP. With these two record, MBV took a new direction. While the loud chiming guitars are still present, they seem layered and effected in new ways that presage the soundscapes of Isn't Anything. Also of note is new vocalist/co-guitarist Bilinda Butcher, who would play an important role in shaping the "MBV Sound". .
