About
Committed to the Crime is a six track EP from Chaos Chao. The project was backed by crowd-funding site Kickstarter, where Chaos Chaos eclipsed their $2,000 goal and raised $5,750 to record, produce, mix, and master the EP. The EP brings together tracks that the band claim that they came up with after a year of being very focused on developing their song-writing skills and just having fun experimenting together: “We've poured all of our experiences and sensitive feeeeelings into the song,” the band write on their Kickstarter page. “For the first time in our early stages of pseudo-adulthood we stopped over-thinking and wrote what came naturally. Instead of analyzing our emotions and deciding what we wanted to say, we just wrote about what we were going through. That all seems very obviou, like 'just write from your heart' - but it's surprisingly very difficult to put into action.” .
