About

Classics is Paul Williams' second official compilation album, released on A&M Records in 1977. Aside from featuring seven cuts derived from albums released between 1971-74, it features Williams' renditions of the Academy Award-winning "Evergreen", and "With One More Look at You" from the soundtrack of A Star Is Born. Additionally, the album opens with a re-recorded version of "Waking Up Alone", Williams' biggest hit as a performer.
