First run pressings had a title "Zanz Kant Danz", that was changed to "Vanz Kant Danz" when ex manager Saul Zaentz sued for defamation and prevailed. Fogerty felt that he should own the masters to songs he wrote, but a restrictive contract took away that privilege.
Valid for all 1980s John Fogerty releases:
Due to contractual reasons the Bellaphon editions were made for exclusive distribution in Germany, Austria & Switzerland while R/S Alsdorf manufactured Warner Bros. Records editions were distributed to other European countries.
Recommendation for entering the country:
Bellaphon: Germany, Austria & Switzerland
Warner Bros. Records / Alsdorf pressings: Europe
