This was the last time they played together as the original line up in 1973. "Cowgirl in the Sand" "For Free" and "(See The Sky) About to Rain" they had recorded some of their 'classic" songs -"Sweet Mary", "Born to Rock N Roll" as well as "Full Circle" and "Changing Heart" both songs written by Gene Clark. I had bought this album in 1973, forgotten until my USB turntable. It was good to hear The Byrds again.

Byrds is the twelfth and final studio album by The Byrds and was released in March 1973 on. It was recorded as the centerpiece of a reunion among the five original band members: Roger McGuinn, Gene Clark, David Crosby, Chris Hillman, and Michael Clarke. The last time that all five members had worked together as the Byrds was in 1966, prior to Clark's departure from the band.
