Originally issued in 1964 on Brassens (France 1964) (opens in a new tab). It's the first Brassens album originally issued on LP. With 'Brassens N°10' on center labels because it came after the 9 albums 1 (opens in a new tab), 2 (opens in a new tab), 3 (opens in a new tab), 4 (opens in a new tab), 5 (opens in a new tab), 6 (opens in a new tab), 7 (opens in a new tab), 8 (opens in a new tab), 9 (opens in a new tab) (all issued on 10").
Second issue on LP in 1965 as part of the series with photo-chimigramme on front cover as 8 (France 1965) (opens in a new tab) because it came with the 7 LPs 1 (opens in a new tab), 2 (opens in a new tab), 3 (opens in a new tab), 4 (opens in a new tab), 5 (opens in a new tab), 6 (opens in a new tab), 7 (opens in a new tab) which gathered the nine 10"s.
It was reissued on many versions (LP, cassette, CD) on this series, on series with title 'VIII', on series with title '8 - Les Copains D'abord' and also outside of those series, in France, Canada and Japan.
This release is regarded as eigth of the « 12 albums du répertoire » on L’Amandier site (link on Georges Brassens page).
