Notes from the original pressing. Later editions may differ.
Completely re-mastered version issued on metallic "silver" or "platinum" vinyl (officially referred to as "grey" at jaynecounty.com).
According to pre-release hype for the first pressing, "The first million pressings of the record are in special bags and pressed in gold vinyl. The second million will be pressed in platinum vinyl!" (Music Week, June 24, 1978: the "million" figures were an obvious fantasy.)
This version has:
• Porky mastering with notably louder and brighter sound
• Orlake pressing, without an anti-slip ring
• Labels with artist-name at top
(The gold versions were mastered at Utopia and have a ridged anti-slip ring; Blatantly Offenzive E.P. (UK 1978) (opens in a new tab) has artist-name below the song titles.)
Record sleeve reads "Blatantly Offenzive" while record reads "Blatantly Offensive".
Back sleeve: "This is a stereo record but can be played on a mono cistern"
The information in the runouts is etched.
