The initial UK release (Big Cock (UK 1986) (opens in a new tab)) was not available to buy in major high street shops, such as Woolworths and HMV, due to their objections to the title "Big Cock". In order to appease these retailers (who sold vast numbers of records in the UK at this time), Stiff Records altered the cover to depict the large male chicken ('cock' - from the original back cover) on the front of the sleeve with the word 'BIG' on the reverse. The title of the album (on the labels) was also changed to 'Second Album'.
