About
Atrevete a Olvidarme (English: Dare to Forget Me) is Brenda K. Starr's eigth studio album, released in July 11, 2005 on Boss Entertainment. The album consists of Salsa songs with a few pop ballads in the mix. All the songs give plenty of room for Starr's unique, charismatic vocals to shine. Includes the hit singles, "Tu Eres" (number 19 on the Billboard Tropical Songs) and the title track, Atrevete a Olvidarme reached number 21 on the Billboard Tropical Songs chart. "Damelo" was also released as a single but it did not chart. In 2006, Starr received a nomination by the Billboard Latin Music Awards for "Best Salsa Single" for the song "Tu Eres".
