Astral Progressions by Josef Leimberg

Astral Progressions is a Jazz album by Josef Leimberg, originally released in 2016. On Gatefold: 6 pressings tracked.

About

After putting his stamp on Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly, Josef Leimberg arrives in full with this momentous statement of street-oriented spiritual jazz. As waves of strings and horns coalesce over swaying West Coast beats, Leimberg’s merger of soul-affirming jazz and hip-hop attitude feels more and more like a moment of cultural awakening.
