Sound DNA

  • Electronic
  • Synth-Pop / New Wave
  • polished
  • yearning
  • nocturnal

This album was reissued repeatedly with minor changes. Things that can vary include:
• the cover art (several variations of boxed faces; risqué embracing couple; or band sitting/squatting)
• whether "Don't Tell Me Lies" is present (actually plays), and whether the sleeve & labels accurately reflect this
• whether "For Love Or Money" is present (actually plays), and whether the sleeve & labels accurately reflect this
• whether the first two tracks ("Jonah" and "All That Jazz") have been replaced by 3:37 & 4:12 remixed versions
Copyright years are often wrong or misleading. The album debuted in 1987, but not on CD until 1988. If the remixed tracks 1 & 2 are present, it is from late 1988 at the earliest.
All editions with "Don't Tell Me Lies" use a John Morales remix which is similar to his Dance Mix from the 1986 Don't Tell Me Lies (UK 1986) (opens in a new tab) 2x12" (e.g. it has bongos throughout).
