About
Known for their probing and intense work as a duo, tenor saxophonist Binker Golding and drummer Moses Boyd—integral figures in Britain’s youthful and vibrant jazz scene—expand into an ensemble on their third full-length, recorded live in East London. The album deals in doubles: Saxophone giant Evan Parker joins Golding and drummer Yussef Dayes joins Boyd, bringing an avant-garde energy to the relentlessly propulsive set. Tori Handsley creates uncannily guitar-like textures on harp, while trumpeter Byron Wallen soars over the grooves with a shrewd melodic sense.
