About
With their ninth album, Pennsylvania's Dr. Dog deliver the ideal soundtrack to a late summer sunset: beautiful and warm, yet already nostalgic for the good times soon to end. Songwriters Toby Leaman and Scott McMicken worship at the altar of Dylan and The Band, but whether it's a chamber-music serenade ("I Saw Her for the First Time"), a wistful, keyboard-driven ballad ("Ladada"), or a folk-pop shuffle ("Survive"), the band always find a way to bend classic rock into beautiful new shapes.
