About
Cody Jinks began the ‘00s as one of the wildest metal guitarists in Texas. He ended the decade as one of the state's deepest country lyricists, imbuing his fiddle-heavy, neo-traditional songs with tales of lonesome drifters and tentative lovers. "A Memory and a Dream" describes a wandering renegade's travels over rock drums and soulful organ, while "Lady Bug” is a tender love song with a sweeping acoustic guitar solo as delicate as lace.
