10 Stories Down/8 Days Later was originally released in 2005, mixed by Bruce Soord & Steve Kitch. It's initial release was a mis-pressed CD using an incorrect master which included the tracks "It's You And Me", "Slip Away", "Catch The Jumping Fool" & "Who Will Be There?" which would not appear on the corrected master edition from the same year. The corrected edition included one song which was not on the initial incorrect pressing, "It's Just You And Me". Additionally, "I Will Light Up Your Eyes", which appeared on the first/mis-pressed version as a single song with a running time of 3:41, was replaced on corrected release by the 2 part "Light Up Your Eyes" which consisted of 2 sections, "I" (7:25 in length) and "Who" (which is 8:08 in length).
The album was remixed for it's 2011 Kscope edition, with the credit "Remixed by Bruce Soord at The Dining Room Studios in April 2011" noted on the release. This remixed version restored ""It's You And Me" to the album and renamed th the two part "Light Up Your Eyes" tracks ("I" and "Who") as "I Will Light Up Your Eyes" & "Who Will Light Up Your Eyes?".
2023's "How Did We Find Our Way 1999-2006 boxed set includes all of the tracks from both the withdrawn/incorrect master and the subsequent Cyclops release, likely with remixed versions of the songs that did not appear on the 2011 remixed edition.
The credits for the stand alone 2023 CD & LP remasters (which would apply to the 2023 boxed set) simply read "Remixed by Bruce Soord and remastered by Steve Kitch at Steve Kitch Mastering in 2023". Listening to the boxed set version, it appears a 2nd remix may have been completed for the 2023 edition, though it may be marked improvements in the mastering giving the appearance of changes in the mix.
